Tickets & arriving

How much are tickets?: In-house Backyard shows: Thursdays £7.50 (+ fee) online / £10 on the door; Fridays £12.50 (+ fee) / £15 door; Saturdays £16 (+ fee) / £20–£24 door. Online sales usually close at 6pm on show day. Other events — see the individual event page.
When should I arrive?: For Thursday–Saturday Backyard shows, arrive by 7.15pm. Advance tickets must be exchanged for a wristband at the box office by 7.15pm or a £3 late fee applies per person. Box office opens at 6.30pm. For other events, arrive at least 30 minutes before start (or as stated on your ticket).
How do I collect my tickets?: You'll get an email confirmation — we scan it on arrival, so keep your phone charged. You can only buy or collect tickets in person on the day of the show when the box office opens (door prices apply for same-day purchases).
Does my ticket reserve a seat?: No — seating is first come, first served.
Do you offer concessions or discounts?: No. We're already one of the cheapest professional comedy clubs in London.

I have a Never Ending Ticket or Membership Card: We take bookings for Never Ending Tickets and Membership cards again. If yours expired while we were closed for COVID (1 March 2020 – 18 June 2021), we extend it by the unused period after 1 March 2020. Queries: info@backyardcomedyclub.co.uk

Is there an age restriction?: All evening shows are 18+. We operate Challenge 25 — bring a UK/EU driving licence, passport, or PASS hologram proof of age.
Can I bring my own food and drink?: No outside food or drink. We serve homemade pizzas and drinks — ask staff for kitchen closing times.
Are dogs allowed?: Dogs are welcome in the bar area but not in the auditorium during shows, except guide dogs. Contact us before purchasing if unsure.
Can we talk or heckle during the show?: We aim for a theatre-like environment when acts are on. Join in only when a performer invites it. We'll ask you to be quiet if others are distracted.
Will I definitely see the comics listed?: Listings can change when things are outside our control — in most cases you'll see who you booked for.
What time does the show finish?: Most shows run about two and a half hours including intervals.

Is the venue accessible?: Yes — fully wheelchair accessible, all on one level, wide doorways, no steps.
How can I contact you?: Email info@backyardcomedyclub.co.uk. We don't take incoming calls and we're mainly open on show days — inbox replies can take a little time. You're welcome to pop into the bar when we're open.

Mobile phones must stay away during shows (screen on distracts others).
18+ — ID may be required.
Management may refuse admission. Intoxicated arrivals may be refused without refund.
Bag and clothing searches may apply. No alcohol or prohibited drugs may be brought in.
No outside food or drink.
Programme and listings may change when essential.
Bookings are final — no exchange or refund.
Latecomers may wait for a suitable break.
Treat venue, staff and acts with respect.
No audio or visual recording in the auditorium.
You may be filmed for TV, online or marketing — entry implies consent.
No re-entry.
